This long format cabinet card features a pretty young woman wearing a beautiful white dress with a small bouquet of roses. Her name is Fanny Velics.
Although she is identified on the back of the card I wasn’t able to find any information about her.
The photo was taken by Ödön Uher (1859-1931) in Budapest. He was a royal court photographer. In 1912 he established a film studio which produced 24 films by 1918. In 1916 he opened a film laboratory as well.
His son, Ödön Uher jr. has become a cameraman and film director.
